1. Sedona
Surrounded by breathtaking red rocks and contrasting green cacti, Sedona is worth the drive. Known for its many hikes and off-road adventures, this is the perfect place to take your truck. One adventure you'll want to check out is Devil's Bridge. Take your Sierra as far as you can down the bumpy trail before heading up for a quick hike that will lead you to some of the best views of Sedona.

Another great place just two hours north of Phoenix is Flagstaff. With its quaint downtown and great eateries, this is a place you won't want to miss. A local favorite spot outside of town is a campground called Lockett Meadow, which offers a scenic view of the San Francisco Peaks and a great place to set up camp for the night. Back north we go for our final road trip-worthy destination near Phoenix! Pinetop-Lakeside is located in one of the largest pine forests in the world. With activities to do in all four seasons, you are sure to find an adventure in this beautiful little town. From biking, to fishing, to a friendly hike, this is a must stop for an outdoor enthusiast.
