Spring Cleaning Hacks: Car Edition
1. We all love our animals and taking them out on the town, but we don't love all the hair they leave behind. One trick is to take a squeegee and a spray bottle full of water to remove the pet hair from the upholstery. A little water will do. Spray down the seat and squeegee away! You'll be amazed at how easy the hair comes up!
2. Cupholders are one of the dirtiest places in the car! Dirt, crumbs, coins, you name it gets piled up in there. One easy way to deal with the mess is to line the cupholder with a cupcake liner! Easy to toss out and replace when they get too dirty.
3. Feel like your headlights are getting a little foggy? Cleaning them with toothpaste on a rag will make your lights crystal clear.
4. Baby wipes are like the duct tape of cleaning, they fix all (but especially dirty windows)! Wipe down the interior of the windows with baby wipes so you're able to see out of them again (and to get rid of all those finger and nose prints).
5. Use old makeup/paint brushes to clean out A/C vents. Make sure to do this step first before vacuuming, or you'll need to vacuum twice!
6. Your commute to work is sure to get your bumper dirty, especially with bugs. One quick way to get rid of that is with dryer sheets! One swipe is all it takes to get rid of those bugs without scratching your car.
7. When all else fails, bring your car to Henry Brown for a professional detailing and get your car looking like new again! Call us at (866) 634-5693 for details or to set up an appointment!
